JPN vs UZK Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Japan and Uzbekistan will be facing each other in the final group game in Group F at Sheikh Khalifa International Stadium, in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, on Thursday evening (IST).
This should be a fascinating battle as two top teams in Group F collide to take the summit of the group.
Uzbekistan are leading the table with maximum points from the first two games, while Japan have a 100% record as well but are behind due to an inferior goal difference.
The White Wolves struggled for fluidity in the first game and were lucky to come out from Al-Sharjah Stadium with all three points. Oman were by far the better team in that match, bossing the possession and creating more chances. But Héctor Cúper’s men scored more goals and rode their luck as well to start the campaign with a win.
While their last game left no doubt whatsoever about the scoreline as they thumped Turkmenistan 4-0 and now sit at the top of the group.
Japan, on the other hand, haven’t hit the ground running by any means. In fact, they were poor against Turkmenistan despite winning the match 3-2. The backline was never convincing and were on the edge every time the opponents brought the ball forward.
The Blue Samurai weren’t convincing in their last game as well. Genki Haraguchi scored the only goal of the game but as a team, the four-time champions were highly unconvincing.
Japan have to up their game in the next match as Uzbekistan can punish their mistakes, which the Samurai are making too many at this stage.
