IRA vs JPN Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Asian heavyweights Iran and Japan will square off in the AFC Asian Cup semi-final match at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, City of Al Ain, United Arab EmiratesIran, on Monday evening (IST).

Iran were the worthy 3-0 winner in their quarter-final match against the Republic of China. Though all the goals came out of China’s mistakes, on the balance of things, this was the least what Iran deserved in that match. With the win, the three-time champions secured their first semi-final appearance since 2004.

Sardar Azmoun was a continuous thorn in China’ backline throughout the match. He was the one who created the first ball out of nothing for his team.

A long-ball which China should have dealt easily was snatched away by Azmoun from under the nose of a reluctant and indecisive Feng Xiaoting. He was through and set up the goal for Mehdi Taremi to tap-in to the empty net.

Rubin Kazan’s forward was the catalyst for the second goal as well as China’s backline again made a mistake, giving the ball away to Azmoun who rounded the goalkeeper to score his fourth of the tournament.

For Japan, they made some mistakes in their match against Vietnam. And the similar kind of performance may yield different result against Azmoun’s team.

Iran vs Japan Team News:

Iran:
Injured –
The three-time Asian Champions have no fresh injury concerns ahead of this game. They were at their full strength in the quarter-final game against the Republic of China and that is expected to be the case here as well.
SuspendedMehdi Taremi is suspended.
Questionable – None.
Note: Carlos Queiroz’s team has been free-flowing in this tournament. Superstar Sardar Azmoun, who came out of International retirement for this tournament, is Iran’s best hope in every match. While Mehdi Taremi has been phenomenal as well and has chipped in with the goals. The duo has scored seven goals for Iran in this competition, including the two in the quarterfinal against China.
Also, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Ashkan Dejagah have been impressive in the knockout rounds and are expected to start the match against Japan.
Key Players – Sardar Azmoun, Mehdi Taremi

Japan:
Injured – No injury concerns for Japan ahead of their semi-final match against Iran.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – None.
Note: Japan are not expected to change and could stick with the same XI which started against Saudi Arabia in the quarter-final.
Having said that, manager Hajime Moriyasu could opt for some fresh players to save his players from fatigue and overload. The likes of Takashi Inui and Yuya Osako are good options who featured from the bench last time around and may start this game. The latters hasn’ played since scoring twice in the first match for Japan, but missed all the games leading up to the last with an injury. He is back now and should give Japan a timely lift.
Genki Haraguchi has starred from the midfield and should be the first name on the player list. While Gaku Shibasaki and Ritsu Doan have flourished in the four-man midfield.
Key Players – Genki Haraguchi, Takumi Minamino

IRA vs JPN Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Iran FANTASY PREDICTION:
The game is pretty much unpredictable. Both the teams are too strong and are yet to taste a defeat in this game.
But Japan have more experienced playing in big games, having won the Asian Cup four times and they are also a regular in the FIFA World Cup. Though Iran are almost perfect in this tournament.
It’s close but we are slight favouring Japan to win this match.
