Indian Football Team: In spite of a resilient display against Qatar in the last game, The Indian football team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Rahul Bheke was sent off by the referee in the 17th minute, but the Blue Tigers did manage to show some fight for the remaining 83 minutes. As a result of that defeat India are now 4th in Group E of the World Cup Qualifiers with just three points. However, they will be desperate for their first win of the group as they take on neighbors Bangladesh next.
