The Indian Football Team will be back in action later tonight as they take on Qatar for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Things are looking pretty gloomy for the time being for India, as they reside at the 4th spot in Group E with three points to their names. They are yet to win a game in their group, as they drew three fixtures to Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Qatar respectively. The Blue Tigers did suffer back to back defeats to Oman as well. Although making it to the World Cup seems highly improbable, the Indian players will be keen on creating an upset against hosts Qatar later tonight.
India vs Qatar, World Cup Qualifiers
The team news is that Rowlin Borges misses out as a result of a hamstring injury, while, Chinglensana Singh sustained a knock recently too. Nevertheless, the Indian Football Captain Sunil Chhetri does have the quality to be difference here. The last time the two teams featured, it was a match winning performance by Gurkeerat Singh between the sticks that earned his side a point against a quality Qatar unit.
