South Korea may have started their world cup dream hoping to recreate their 2002 World Cup run at home as they reached the semis against all odds but they have to try to do so in the next world cup because in Group F they have been the punching bag despite having an organized defense. In their first game they lost to Sweden 1 – 0 and they faced Mexico to turn around their fate but the form the Mexicans are having, the defending champions failed to stop them and South Korea was no exception. Despite scoring a terrific goal from their talisman, Son Heung Min, Mexico won the match 2-1, ending their world cup dream for this time. It was a very controversial match for South Korea in their first game when they played against Sweden and the Korean gaffer complained that Sweden had sent spy to understand Korean strategy. But now that South Korea lost both of their matches we know who to blame for this. However, they would be facing Germany before exiting from the world cup and would want to add no more humiliation.

Germany, on the other hand, still remains clueless on the ground. The lack of strategy and execution had cost them their first game and their second game against Sweden was also going that way when Sweden took the lead in the second half. Marco Reus marked his first world cup goal as he scored the equalizer but Germany needed to win that game to keep on their world cup dream and that is when the German Sniper took things in his hand and with a great strategy scored perhaps one of the best world cup goals from a set piece outside the penalty box. All eyes would be on Toni Kroos as he was exceptional throughout the game and the winning goal deserved to be his. But Germany needs to change their game if they are to really defend their world cup because with their current display of football they are most likely to end up in the quarter finals against a more organized team.
