The Formation – We have gone for the 3-5-2 formation as we think the game will be played more in the midfield, with the visitors dominating it.

Goalie: Ireland’s recent record against Denmark is decent. They have won two times in the last 4 games against them. And being the host team, we have opted for the home goalkeeper.

The Wall: Shane Duffy is a perhaps Ireland’s best CB, and so, is an obvious choice. We have gone for Kjaer and Christensen from the Danish team because the former is a regular at Sevilla and remains their one of the best players, while Christensen should be picked up ahead of others in this position.

The Ploughers:  In our 5-man midfield, we have 3 Danish players – Delaney, Hojberg and Sisto. All three are a class above the midfielders of Ireland.
We have overlooked Harry Arter for this team because of his row with Ireland’s assistant manager Roy Keane. And that’s why there are slight chances that he may not feature in this game. McClean and Hendricks are our choices.

The Super-Strikers: Up front, Leipzig’s in-form striker Yousef Poulsen will be leading our attack along with Shane Long.

The Formation: In this match, we have selected a 4-5-1 formation.

Goalie: Kasper Schmeichel – A Premier League winner with Leicester City and a better choice in this position amongst any players from this match. Ireland may press high-up the pitch and thus Schmeichel may be forced into action, it means, more points for him in this match.

The Wall: It’s hard to overlook Shane Duffy, and his partner from Ireland is Clarke. Kjaer is again in our team but we haven’t selected Christensen in this team because the Chelsea man hasn’t featured for his club in the first 8 Premier League games. Sisto and Delaney are obvious choices, but we have slotted in Arter because if he plays, the Cardiff man can make a difference.
