Since the 2017-18 season, Tottenham Hotspur played their home games at Wembley. Harry Kane and Co. did enjoy some good results but calling their temporary stay at the iconic Wembley “A Home Adventure” just doesn’t feel right as Spurs hardly felt at ease when playing at their rented home.

White Hart Lane was special. The history of the club, the familiarity of things and that unparallel belief of being inside a fortress, all used to come together for Spurs’ home matches. And with Wembley, it was never the case.

Image Liverpool moving to a new stadium with no Anfield road to haunt the away team, and above all no Kop End to create that unequaled atmosphere? Borussia Dortmund without their famous Yellow Wall?

So in a sense, it could take some time before Tottenham finally feel at home inside their new stadium. But Spurs are almost running out of time. They have no choice but to play out of their skins in their remaining matches. For the top-4 is at grave risk.

Since the back end of February, Tottenham have had a treacherous run of results. After their shocking 1-2 loss against Burnley, Mauricio Pochettino’s men lost 2-0 to Chelsea and 2-1 against Southampton and Liverpool respectively with their solo point in that stretch coming against Arsenal in the 1-1 draw at Wembley.

The misery is compounded even further due to the good form of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, with the Gunners leapfrogging them on the table after winning 2-0 at home against Newcastle United.

But Spurs have reasons to believe that they can squeeze into the top-4 at the end of the season. The big factor is that Spurs have five home games in their remaining seven league games, while Arsenal have five away matches, and Chelsea are too inconsistent.

While Crystal Palace are coming into this math on the back of a good result. In fact, the Eagles are in a decent form after losing just twice in the last eight league games, which include three wins in the last five matches.

At the weekend, the Eagles made an easy work of Huddersfield, winning 2-0 at Selhurst Park. With the win, Palace moved to 36 points, 8 points clear of the relegation zone.

Palace are almost safe now but a win would almost guarantee that.

However, there is no denying the fact that it has been another underwhelming season for the Eagles. For the kind of talent that this team possesses, getting embroiled in a relegation fight is just unacceptable.

CRY vs TOT Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace Team News:

Tottenham Hotspur:
Injured –
Tottenham have a relatively healthy squad. But Eric Dier and Harry Winks are still on the sidelines. The duo will be missing the home clash against Crystal Palace.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Serge Aurier sustained an injury while on international duty. He is expected to be fine ahead of this match. If that’s the case, the former PSG man will be fighting with Kieran Tripper for a place at the right-back.

Note: Mauricio Pochettino went with an attacking playing 11 against Liverpool, starting Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Moussa Sissoko at Anfield. We could see the same trio here as well considering the injury to Dier.
Key Players – Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen

Crystal Palace:
Injured – Centre-back Mamadou Sakho remains Palace’s only injury absentee at the moment.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – None.
Note: Manager Roy Hodgson could go with the same XI which started against Huddersfield. Though there is every chance of a change here. The likeliest is of Max Meyer who was substituted at the half time against Huddersfield in favor of James McArthur.
Key Players – Wilfried Zaha, Andros Townsend
