CRY vs MCI Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Manchester City will be locking horns against Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the City of Manchester Stadium (Etihad Stadium), in Manchester, on Saturday evening (IST).

Manchester City:
For the first time this season, Manchester City may find themselves at 2nd even if they win against Crystal Place at the weekend. And also, if Liverpool win their match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Reds are destined to go into the Christmas as the leaders of the Premier League.

Talk about bad omen for Pep Guardiola and his men, the four teams who topped the table at Christmas went on to win the Premier League. But there is always a shining light.

The last team not to win the Premier League after topping the Christmas table was Liverpool; in the 2013-14 season which Manchester City won. And before that, it happened in the 2008-09 season. The first seed of Deja Vu for the Kopites. It was again Liverpool and the title went to Manchester, again, and to United.

But Jurgen Klopp’s men are playing like a potential champion this season. They remain the only unbeaten side in the Premier League coming into this match. And there’s a possibility that City could be behind by four points by the time they kick the ball at the Etihad Stadium against Palace.

Crystal Palace:
Two seasons ago, Crystal Palace were making all the right noises in the Premier League. They were flexing their financial muscles, breaking transfer records as they signed super striker Christian Benteke from Liverpool for a club-record £27m in the summer of 2016. Fast forward a year, then they paid another £26m for the services of Mamadou Sakho, again from Liverpool.

But their performance on the field couldn’t do justice to their exorbitant spending on the new arrivals and it won’t be an exaggeration to say that Benteke has been a flop. The former Aston Villa striker is out injured right now but is being seen as a surplus to requirement. There has been even the talk of a January loan move to Besiktas.

The Eagles’ best player is Wilfried Zaha. He holds the key for Palace’s position this season, and his importance to the squad could be seen from the fact that Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win over Leicester City was their first in his absence since 2016.

The win did ease the pressure on Roy Hodgson who was coming under serious pressure before his team won two times in the last four games. Those six points did dig the Eagles out of the relegation zone and now they sit on 15th, but only three points away from the relegation zone.

CRY vs MCI Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Manchester City vs Crystal Palace Team News:

Manchester City:
Injured – The reigning champions are hit hard in this department.
David Silva suffered a hamstring injury against Chelsea and won’t be playing until the new year. While Claudio Bravo, Benjamin Mendy and Eliaquim Mangala all remain on the sidelines for the Cityzens.
Club captain Vincent Kompany is the latest player to go into the treatment room.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Right-back Danilo is carrying a knock and may not be involved in this match.

Note – With wing-man Danilo out, Fabian Delph is expected to continue at the left-back position. Manager Pep Guardiola rested several players for the League Cup match against Leicester City. The likes of Leroy Sane, Aymeric Laporte, Bernando Silva, Fernandinho and Fabian Delph all are expected to be recalled for this match.
Also, Sergio Aguero is back fit and could start the match from the bench.
Key Players – Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez

Crystal Palace:
Injured – Striker Christian Benteke remains the only major absentee for the visitors ahead of this match.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Cheikhou Kouyate is carrying a knock and is likely to be assessed ahead of the match.
Note: Both James Tomkins and Wilfried Zaha will be returning to the matchday squad after serving a one-game ban last weekend.
Key Players – Zaha, Milivojevic

CRY vs MCI Dream11 Playing 11 – (Probable) –
Manchester City– Ederson (GK), Delph, Laporte, Stones, Walker, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Sane, Aguero, Sterling
Crystal Palace– Guaita (GK), Van Aanholt, Sakho, Kelly, Wan-Bissaka, Meyer, Milivojevic, Kouyate, McArthur, Zaha, Townsend

CRY vs MCI Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Team 1:
Raheem Sterling is City’s top goal-scorer this season, while Zaha is Palace’s superstar in every regard. Expect the aforementioned duo to start the match. While De Bruyne is in our midfield as are Sane and Mahrez while Milivojevic can shoot a ball, while Townsend can be a ball carrier.

Not many changes here but we have dropped De Bruyne as the Belgian has only returned from a long-term injury lay-off and may not be risked in a home game.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Manchester City have won all their home games in the Premier League this season, the only side to do so this season. While Crystal Palace’s away record is one of the worst and they are winless on the road since beating Fulham 0-2 in their very first game of the season.

But with Wilfried Zaha returning, the visitors’ attack will be more potent and they could pose some problems to the hosts’ defence.
But a home win is all we can see in this match.
