Cameroon are not setting the tournament on fire by any means. A return of just one win is not what is expected from the defending champions.

Match Details:

The Africa Cup of Nations 2019 match will be played between Nigeria and Cameroon at Alexandria Stadium, in Alexandria, Egypt. The ground has a capacity of 20,000.

The game will start at 09:30 PM (IST), on Tuesday, July 06.

Captain John Obi Mikel missed Nigeria’s training ahead of this game and is expected to miss the match. The former Chelsea midfielder picked up a knee injury during Nigeria‘s 2-0 defeat against Madagascar.
Right-back Shehu Abdullahi, who suffered a hamstring injury in Game-1, has returned to light training. That said, he remains doubtful and will be assessed ahead of the match.

According to reports, left-back Jamilu Collins is back in full training and will be considered for the game. Though, Ola Aina is expected to start the game
If Shehu Abdullahi fails to shake off his injury, Chidozie Awaziem will be starting the match at right-back.
With John Obi Mikel out injured, Leicester City’s Wilfried Ndidi will come straight into the XI.
Moreover, Daniel Akpeyi should regain his position in goal after keeping the clean sheets in the first two games. Ikechukwu Ezenwa started the last game.
