When Maurizio Sarri was unveiled as the Chelsea boss at the start of the current season, he touched on his desire to spend a long time at the SW6. And it indeed looked the case as the Blues started the season on a magnificent note, stringing unbeaten start to the campaign and going toe to toe with both Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title.
But ever since Wolves shocked them 2-1 in the Premier League in the first week of December, Chelsea never looked the same.
There have been some incredible results though like the 2-0 win over Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur respectively. However, the Blues failed to emulate the kind of form they showed in the initial part of the season.
Now the case with Sarri is that the noise questioning about his position with the club is not dying despite Chelsea sitting in a good position on the table. He is certainly under pressure, to deliver what was expected from him at the start of the season.
For sure, taking the club back to the Champions League was the first and the primary target. Sarri can still deliver on that for Chelsea are 5th on the table, just one point behind 3rd placed Tottenham Hotspur.

While there is every chance that the Blues may end up with a silverware this season as they are still alive in the Europa League. The 2013 champions will be facing Slavia Praha in the quarterfinals.
While West Ham United have had their fair share of inconsistency this season. In fact, there have been way too many torrid periods for a club aiming to break into the top-six.
The Hammers have alternated between victories and defeats in the last six games, with their last one ending in a 0-2 home defeat against Everton.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini is not under pressure though, at least not in the immediate one. Part of that may be because of his impressive resume, and Hammers’ performance against the big boys.
