Timo Werner – The marquee signing for Chelsea, he did not score against Brighton but got an assist and his overall gameplay was quite impressive. Werner has stepped up in the big games during his time in the Bundesliga and Lampard will expect him to do the same against Liverpool.

Sadio Mane – Signed in 2016, he has been a huge part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans and his system. He has consistently been a high scorer for the club and with Salah’s arrival, his game has been accentuated to another level. Mason Mount – The Chelsea youngster got the opportunity to step up to the first team due to their transfer ban, and step up he did. Virgil van Dijk – Virgil van Dijk is a major force in the heart of Klopp’s defence.
