CHE vs LEI Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Chelsea could climb up to as high as third in the Premier League if they beat Leicester City at Stamford Bridge, on Saturday evening (IST).
Chelsea:
Manchester United’s perpetual problems mean Chelsea are not facing pressure from all fronts as things stand. Only Arsenal can be hailed as a serious threat for their Champions League aspirations.
The Blues’ title-hopes were dashed when they were humbled by Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley Stadium. The mannerism of the 3-1 loss raised many a question over Chelsea’s real potential and their ever-lasting reliance on Eden Hazard. The Belgian is that piece of the jigsaw which makes the team tickle and if thwarted by teams, the whole Chelsea team seems to struggle, particularly against big teams.
And then came perhaps the lowest point of the season in the Midlands. Chelsea were 0-1 up at the half-time and then Wolves scripted a comeback and struck a hammer blow which all but ended Maurizio Sarri’s hopes of a serious tilt at the Premier League. The former Napoli boss was questioned at the end of the match that why his team failed to turn up in the 2nd half, to which the 59-year-old replied that he didn’t have a clue.
Now the five-time Premier League champions find themselves third in the table, 8 points behind leaders Liverpool and only three-point better-off than 5th placed Arsenal.
Leicester City:
The Foxes’ journey in the Football League Cup met its expected fate. Just like the last season, it was Manchester City who killed their hopes of lifting a silverware this season. And call it a deja-vu or history repeating itself, Pep Guardiola’s men triumphed on penalties this time around as well.
To be true, Leicester would hardly lose sleep over the Carabao Cup result and it’s the Premier League which command their attention like nothing else. The team is too good for the relegation and also good enough to sustain a top-10 challenge.
Claude Puel has done a decent job at the club. But the recent results have taken the sting out of their season to some extent. At the moment, the 2015-16 Premier League champions are outside the top-half and sit at 12th with 22 points from the first 17 games.
In the last 10 games, Leicester have won just twice and have collected only 10 points. This is not a good return by any means and Puel has to find a solution to get the most out of his talented squad on a more consistent basis.

CHE vs LEI Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Chelsea vs Leicester City Team News:
Chelsea:
Injured – No player has been ruled out just yet for Chelsea. But few players are battling with injuries and may not be involved.
Suspended – None
Questionable – Alvaro Morata is still recovering from a knee injury and may not be involved at all. While Gary Cahill and Victor Moses didn’t feature in the League Cup as expected and could be out of the matchday squad for this game as well.
Note: Maurizio Sarri rested some key players for the League Cup clash against Bournemouth. The likes of David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante all are expected to start the match.
Key Players – Hazard, Willian, Pedro
Leicester City:
Injured – For Leicester, Daniel Amartey and Matty James both have been ruled out with injuries.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Jamie Vardy was given a night off against Manchester City as the England international only recently returned from the injury, and two games in four days were too much for the 31-year-old England international. However, he remains questionable ahead of this match as is left-back Ben Chillwell.
Note: Centre-back Jonny Evans is available after serving a suspension in the last match. Also, club captain Wes Morgan, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and winger Ricardo Pereira all are expected to be recalled having missed the League Cup clash against City.
Key Players – Hazard, Plea
CHE vs LEI Dream11 Playing 11 – (Probable) –
Chelsea– Arrizabalaga (GK), Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Giroud, Hazard
Leicester City– Schmeichel (GK), Pereira, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Mendy, Ndidi, Gray, Maddison, Ghezzal, Vardy
CHE vs LEI Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
Team 1:
Sarri may prefer a false nine once again but we have no option but to go with Giroud as our striker along with Vardy who is a doubt but is expected to be fit for this match.
The tip of False Nine is Hazard, with both Pedro and Willian on either side of him. But we have Jorginho in our team with Maddinson and Mendy completing our four men centre.
Team 1:
Giroud is expected to feature at some stage in the game if the former Arsenal star doesn’t get the start. Here we have our complete midfield with Hazard, Pedro and Willian all playing.
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Last season, Leicester produced a very valiant display at Stamford Bridge and took home a deserved one-point from the match. Chelsea may be back to winning ways but they are not killing teams, so the visitors should fancy their chances.
However, we are backing a home win in this match.
