CHE vs CRY Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Chelsea will be aiming for their 2nd consecutive win when they travel within the suburbs of London to take on Crystal Place at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Sunday evening (IST).
Crystal Palace:
Crystal Palace were on an eight-game winless streak before they headed into the make-or-break month of December. This is perhaps the biggest and the most crucial phase of the season when the games come thick and fast, making the table clearer.
The Eagles hosted another relegation candidate Burnley in the 1st game this month and won 2-0. Though they lost the next two games against Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham, two successive wins against Leicester City and Manchester City has fetched a very good return of points in the first six games. That’s 10 points in the last 6 games which is one more than what they managed in the first 13 games.
And no wonder that good period has created daylight between them and the relegation zone which is seven points coming into this match.
Last time around they were forced into a stalemate by a resilient Cardiff City who produced a dogged performance at the back and rode their luck as the Eagles hit the woodwork two times in the match.
Chelsea:
The Blues started the December period with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Fulham. This was the ideal start for Maurizio Sarri and his team which was going neck and neck with both Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League glory.
But the next four matches changed the dynamics for them in the points table. It all started with a trip to west midlands which they lost 2-1 after a no-show in the 2nd half undid the good showing of the first half. They recorded two wins in the next two games including a superb 2-0 home win over the then-unbeaten Manchester City. The season looked to be back on track after those two matches.
The uncanniness of the Premier League then stung them as Leicester City outfoxed them at the Bridge, winning 1-0 and thus all but ended their hopes of Premier League. At the moment they are 4th in the table, a huge 11 points off the pace, and just two points better than fifth-placed Arsenal.

CHE vs CRY Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Crystal Palace vs Chelsea Team News:
Crystal Palace:
Injured – For Palace, Christian Benteke remains a long-term absentee. The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker had surgery on his knee in October and will not be making a return until at least 2019.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – While Martin Kelly and Wayne Hennessey both are carrying knocks and are likely to be assessed ahead of the match.
Note: Roy Hodgson is not expected to make a wholesale of changes to his squad which had performed so well in the last couple of matches. But Max Meyer may find himself on the bench after struggling to make an impact in the home game against Cardiff City.
Key Players – Zaha, Townsend
Chelsea:
Injured – The Barcelona winger Pedro suffered a muscle injury against Watford and has been ruled out for the next 10 days. The defender Andreas Christensen is another player who is certain to miss the match with an injury.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Callum Hudson-Odoi replaced Pedro in the last game but he himself was taken off late in the 2nd half. Later in the press conference, manager Sarri told that the player suffered a muscle tear.
While striker Alvaro Morata is back in training but may not be risked in this match. The situation remains the same for Victor Moses who is still recovering from an injury.
Note: Sarri named the same XI which lost 1-0 against Leicester. However, the changes here are certain as Pedro is out while a few players may need a breather.
Key Players – Hazard, Willian
CHE vs CRY Dream11 Playing 11 – (Probable) –
Crystal Palace– Guaita (GK), Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt, McArthur, Kouyate, Milivojevic, Meyer, Townsend, Zaha
Chelsea– Arrizabalaga (GK), Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Hazard, Willian
CHE vs CRY Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
Team 1:
Crystal Palace created a whopping 31 chances in the last game against Cardiff City which was their best ever effort in the last 15 top-flight seasons. That’s the confidence a team gets when it beats Manchester City in an away game.
This will be a very tough game for the visitors.
As for the goalkeeping situation, Hennessey is back fit for Palace and may be involved. But we have overlooked him because he may or may not start.
While the attacking options are pretty solid, with Zaha and Hazard leading the lines in both our teams. Morata is still a doubt while Giroud is not starting the matches of late.
In the midfield, we have Willian, who will start as Pedro is out injured, while Jorginho will be his partner.
For Palace, Milivojevic, Townsend and Kouyate will be in the centre of the park.
Team 2:
There are not many changes here. But we have gone with three Chelsea midfielders here.
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Crystal Palace are a force at home. They can make life a bit difficult for the visitors and we expect a tough game for Chelsea.
However with Eden Hazard in a very good form, an away win is our call.
Prediction 2-0 (at least)
