CFC vs KBFC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
The Southern Derby will see two bottom-placed teams square off as Kerala Blasters meet Chennaiyin FC meet in the regular season Indian Super League match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Kaloor Stadium), in Kochi, Kerala, on Friday evening (IST).
A 2-0 away win in the very first game of the season, and that too against ATK, one of the favorites for the playoffs, no wonder the expectations sky-rocketed for the Yellow Army. But the rolling thunder and the boisterous clouds in the sky can be the false indicator for the rain, it happens. We all know, the fawning and flattery.

That win remains Kerala’s only victory of the season. The repercussions have been too many. The hopes of making into the post-season long vanished, while manager David James was also shown the exit door.
It’s all about pride now for the Blasters, and also a little matter of giving back to the fans who have dispersed away from the home matches on the back of too many negative results.
A small step was taken in that regard asĀ Nelo Vingada’s team earned a 2-2 draw against Bengaluru FC. It will be interesting to see how many fans flock in for this match, as preparations for the next season gets underway.
For Chennaiyin FC, it’s has been an underwhelming season, to say the least. Just two wins, and 8 points from 15 games, it was not warranted from the team which was the defending champion.

But what has been quite remarkable is Chennaiyin FC’s persistence with manager John Gregory. In a world which thrives on short term success and where time is a kind of luxury which is as esoteric as the sight of dark matter, it’s quite phenomenal that he has been able to remain in his job despite his team failing to achieve the minimum target.
Be it as it is. The Marina Arena showed its mettle in the last game, as they beat Bengaluru FC 2-1 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

CFC vs KBFC Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
With both the teams propping up the table, the season has so little to offer to Kerala Blasters and Chennaiyin FC. But nine points are still up for grabs and a lot can be achieved from those sets of points; that is to avoid the ignominy of becoming the last-placed team.
That’s a motivation which both the teams can use to propel themselves into action. But the form is with Chennaiyin FC at the moment, and the hosts are Kerala Blasters. It’s a difficult call but we back the visitors to avoid the defeat here.
