Their only three points came from the thrashing of Leicester City in their first game after that the Red Devils shockingly lost Brighton Hove Albion and then fell short to Tottenham Hotspur by 3-0 score. This has been a real surprise for fans and everyone alike who support the Red Devils because they were the second best team when it came to defence the last term and this time out they seem not to have anything stopping their opponents from finding the back of the net. They have already conceded seven goals so far in this season and it is expected that this would benefit the hosts as they have also improved their attacking abilities than the last term.

Phil Jones hobbled off in the 2nd half against Tottenham and is unlikely to feature, while Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot and Sergio Romero have been ruled out for United. Eric Bailly was dropped against Spurs and could be recalled while Victor Lindelof could start the game here at Turf Moor.
