But Monchengladbach could take a leap out of their books to full optimistic ahead of this match. They have a good recent record against Munchen, winning five times in the last 9 matches in all competitions, including a humongous 3-0 at Allianz Arena in the reverse fixture.

Niko Kovac’s reign at Bayern Munich started on a dream note. A 5-0 DFL-Supercup final win over Eintracht Frankfurt followed six more wins, including four in the Bundesliga.
