Newly promoted Granada has started off the season surprisingly well as they are level on points with defending Champions of Spain, FC Barcelona with seven points on board.

Barcelona, courtesy a better goal difference are at fifth while Granda is right below them at sixth.

Diego Martinez’s side started off La Liga with a thrilling 4-4 draw at Villareal, followed by a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla. Granada bounced back in the perfect manner as they won their next two games against Espanyol by  3-0, and Celta Vigo by 2-0 respectively.

Alex Martinez, Yann Eteki, Neyder Lozano, and Fedo Vico are expected to be on the sidelines due to injuries.

Fullback, Quini, will be out of contention for several weeks after sustaining a knee injury.

Barcelona:

Barcelona has followed a similar pattern as Granada with two wins, a draw, and a defeat.

The positive news for the Catalans was the return of Luis Suarez and Leo Messi.

Suarez scored a brace versus Valencia, while Messi is yet to start a game as he came off the bench at the Signal Iduna Park.

Jordi Alba will miss out the game against Granda as he pulled his hamstring in the Champions League fixture.

Antonio Puertas has scored two goals from midfield and has a pass success ratio of 83% in four appearances for Granada.

With Lionel Messi likely to be in action in Granada, it just seems like his name will be on the scoresheet for the first time this season.

Antoine Griezmann has looked promising for Barcelona with two goals and two assists in four games so far.

Prediction- Though Barcelona are yet to register their first win in the league while being away from home, it just seems like they’ll be able to do so against Granada with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi back in attack.
