AUS vs PAL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Australia will be aiming to get their AFC Asian Cup campaign back on track when they face Palestine in their 2nd group game at Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates tomorrow on Friday night (IST).
Only if the battles were decided on paper, Australia would have managed to script a straightforward win in their first group game against Jordan. But the reality is that they lost and as a result, their campaign is hinged on thin wires as a result other than a win would leave them in danger of getting knocked out at the first hurdle.
Nobody gave Jordan, who are 109 in the FIFA World rankings, even a slight chance of winning the game against the 43rd ranked Socceroos. And it was quite a shocking result as Jordan had only 23% of the ball, had a lower number of shots compared to what Australia produced in the game.
However, Jordan did the most important thing in a game of football and that is to score a goal. It came from the head of centre-back Anas Bani Yaseen in the 26th minute. Now the pressure is certainly mounting on manager Graham Arnold and his players to come good in their next match.
Palestine, on the other hand, drew their first game against Syria. The result was a positive one for the Lions of Cannons but it was hardly a performance to give the team any belief for their next game. Palestine were blunt going forward and failed to register even a single shot at the goal. To make matter worse for them, centre-back Mohammed Saleh was sent off in the 68th minute of the game.

Palestine vs Australia Team News:
Palestine:
Injured – None at the moment.

Note: The goals are the problem for Palestine as they drew blank last time around as well. But don’t expect any changes in this game.

Right-back Josh Risdon picked up a groin injury in the last game against Jordan and will be missing the action.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – The loss against Jordan proved to be more costly as a host of stars either hobbled off or got injured.
Tom Rogic is another man who broke his hand and remains questionable. While Andrew Nabbout is also carrying a knock and is racing against time to be fit for the clash.
Note: Expect some changes from Australia in this game, especially in the offensive department. Jamie Maclaren could find himself on the bench this time after struggling to make an impact against Jordan. Andrew Nabbout or Apostolos Giannou remain in contention to start. While Jackson Irvine and Chris Ikonomidis will both be hoping to get more game time after impressing off the bench against Jordan.
Key Players – Ikonomidis, Mabil, Nabbout

AUS vs PAL Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
Palestine FANTASY PREDICTION:
Australia are one of the most successful teams from the Asia Pacific region. But their recent history makes this game a pretty tough one for them. The Socceroos haven’t won in the last 13 games away from home. But this is the game where we see that changing and a win for Australia is our call.
