They made nine new signings and brought Manuel Pellegrini to the helm of the team hoping to build a team for the future but lacking the composure they need at the moment. Their biggest gamble would be their new signings because if those players can adapt to the tactics early it would be beneficial for the team but at the moment it is leading to the instability of the hammers.
