The German gem Mesut Ozil and IIkay Gundogan are getting charged over devastating Germany’s Football values by clicking a photo with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan which later on turned up his “election campaign stunt.” The image of both the midfielders is going viral within the country among the fans, and it is getting labeled as a backlash to the team.
Both the players are accused of visiting Turkey’s President and joined their election campaign without even asking DFB. The Arsenal and Manchester City midfielders were pictured greeting the president, and the image was shared by Ozil’s Official Instagram account. According to the DFB President Reinhard Grindel, it is against German football values. Both the stars belong to Turkey, but they play for Germany. As if now no official statement is made by the midfielder on this issue to sort or create any drama.
The Former German international player Oliver Bierhoff considers that the team selection would be affected by this row. It’s time for Joachim Low to choose wisely and neutralizes the drama which could appear at the group stage within the team.
