The toss went India’s way in the first game and it made things easier for India who crushed South Africa in the first match of the 3 match T20I series. South Africa are a top quality T20I side but they wouldn’t be proud about the way they batted in the first game. They need to win the second game of the series to stay alive and maintain their streak of not losing a series in India in T20Is to date.
IND vs SA 2nd T20I: India to seal the series
India didn’t play Jasprit Bumrah in the first game and even without their best T20I pacer, India played a super strong pace attack that didn’t allow South African batsmen to score runs freely. The initial swing that both the Indian pacers generated was quite extraordinary to say the least. The fact that South African bowlers were unable to generate the same degree of swing which Indian bowlers generated tells you the story.

The second match of the series is expected to go India’s way as well which would mean that South Africa will be losing their first ever T20I series in the Indian soil. India are the #1 side in this format of the game. They are gearing up wonderfully for the upcoming T20 world cup in Australia. One thing they would want to test themselves is defending a target successfully. India were awful defending targets in the Asia Cup and in the first game against Australia.

Will South Africa bring in Lungi Ngidi?
Tabraiz Shamsi maybe a top ranked bowler in T20Is but rankings don’t tell the full story. He bowls too many loose balls and lets the opposition to score runs freely, thereby releasing the pressure created by the bowlers at the other end, if any. They would want to bring in Lungi Ngidi, who has regained his full rhythm in the last few months. He would make a great fast bowling trio along with Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje.
