Cricket fans across India can look forward to an exciting IPL experience beyond the stadiums. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the return of IPL Fan Parks for the 2025 season, expanding the initiative to 50 cities across 23 states and one union territory.
Starting from March 22, 2025, and running until May 25, these Fan Parks will bring live match screenings, entertainment, and interactive activities to various locations across the country. From Tinsukia in Assam to Kochi in Kerala, Amritsar in Punjab to Goa, cricket lovers will get a chance to celebrate IPL in a stadium-like atmosphere.
Since its introduction in 2015, the Fan Park concept has grown into an engaging experience for fans who can’t attend matches in person. Each venue will have live match screenings, music, food courts, and special activities such as a virtual batting zone, bowling nets, face-painting stations, replica dugouts, and a cheer-o-meter. Families and kids can enjoy dedicated play zones, while interactive 360° photo booths will let fans capture their experience.
The season will open with Fan Parks in Rohtak, Bikaner, Gangtok, Kochi, and Coimbatore. Multiple parks will operate simultaneously every weekend, ensuring wider accessibility for fans. Several cities, including Kakinada, Dimapur, Karaikal, Manbhum, Purulia, Rohtak, and Tinsukia, will host Fan Parks for the first time.
According to IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal these events are designed to bring the energy of IPL to fans in different parts of the country. He noted that creating a stadium-like environment in multiple cities helps strengthen the league’s connection with supporters and enhances the overall fan experience.
BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia expressed his enthusiasm for the 2025 expansion, saying it will ensure even more fans get to enjoy the IPL atmosphere close to home. “The IPL Fan Parks highlight our commitment to engaging fans beyond the stadiums. Since its launch in 2015, this initiative has brought the thrill of the IPL to millions of fans, creating unforgettable experiences. With the 2025 schedule covering 50 cities, we are excited to take the IPL experience to even more fans, ensuring that the spirit of cricket and the magic of IPL reaches every corner of the country,” he said.
With 50 locations set to host Fan Parks, the upcoming IPL season promises to bring cricket lovers together in a way that goes beyond traditional match screenings. The initiative continues to make IPL more accessible, allowing fans to celebrate their favorite teams and players with others in their communities.
