Delhi Daredevils – IPL 2013 (13 losses)
Delhi Daredevils has been one of the most inconsistent teams in IPL history. The franchise has had some big names like Virender Sehwag, David Warner, Ashish Nehra, and Ajit Agarkar, but they have never been able to find the right balance in the team. In the IPL 2013 season, Delhi Daredevils recorded the worst season by a team in IPL history with 13 losses in a single season. Led by Mahela Jayawardene, Delhi Daredevils failed to get any momentum throughout the tournament, and their big names failed to perform.

Deccan Chargers – IPL 2008 (12 losses)
The Deccan Chargers franchise had a disastrous IPL 2008 season, the first-ever season of IPL. With 12 losses, they could never get their team combination right. The team had big names like VVS Laxman, Adam Gilchrist, Herschelle Gibbs, and Shahid Afridi, but they could not perform together. Initially, VVS Laxman was given the captaincy of the team, but later on, it was handed over to Adam Gilchrist in the mid-season. Rohit Sharma was the only consistent performer for Deccan Chargers in the 2008 season.
Pune Warriors India – IPL 2012 & 2013 (12 losses each)
Pune Warriors India is a franchise that was never able to find success in the IPL. In back-to-back seasons of IPL 2012 and 2013, the team registered 12 losses in each season. The team had big legends like Yuvraj Singh, Steven Smith, Sourav Ganguly, and Angelo Mathews, but they failed to make an impact. The franchise had the lowest win percentage in IPL history and never got their team combination right. Later on, Pune Warriors India franchise exited the tournament due to financial issues.

Delhi Daredevils – IPL 2014 (12 losses)
Delhi Daredevils continued their poor form in IPL 2014, registering 12 losses in a single season. The franchise had released several key players like Sehwag, Warner, and Nehra just before the auction but still could not gather a perfect team combination. The team had a heavy batting line-up with big names like Quinton De Kock, JP Duminy, Kevin Pietersen, and Dinesh Karthik. Kevin Pietersen, the England superstar batsman, led the team in 2014, but the team failed to perform.
Deccan Chargers – IPL 2012 (11 losses)
Deccan Chargers makes it to the list twice, and the second time was in IPL 2012, where they lost 11 matches. It was the last season for Deccan Chargers in the IPL. Kumar Sangakkara, the legendary wicket-keeper batsman, led the team in IPL 2012. The team had big names like Dale Steyn, JP Duminy, and Amit Mishra, but they failed to perform together.
