Mahipal Lomror has been one of the promising young players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since he made his debut in 2018. 2018 Season
Lomror made his IPL debut in 2018 for RR against Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in Jaipur. He batted at number six and scored 11 runs off 17 balls, helping his team to a total of 153 runs. In the next match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he scored 47 runs off 39 balls, which remains his highest score in the IPL. However, his performance could not help his team win the match as they lost by 5 wickets. In the same season, he played two more matches but could only manage a total of 20 runs.

2019 Season
In the 2019 season, Lomror played two matches for RR. He scored 8 runs in the first match against Kings XI Punjab and remained unbeaten. In the second match against Kolkata Knight Riders, he picked up his first IPL wicket and bowled a crucial over, conceding only six runs. He could only score 0 runs in that match.
2020 Season
In the 2020 season, Lomror played three matches for RR. He batted at number five in the first match against Chennai Super Kings and scored 47 runs off 39 balls, his highest score in the season. In the next match against Kings XI Punjab, he could only manage 9 runs off 8 balls. He did not get a chance to bat in the last match of the season against Kolkata Knight Riders. He bowled only one over in the season and conceded 13 runs.
2021 Season
Lomror played four matches in the 2021 season. He batted at number six in the first match against Punjab Kings and scored 43 runs off 17 balls, his highest score of the season. He could only manage a total of 51 runs in the next three matches. He did not get a chance to bowl in the season.
