Kuldeep made his IPL debut in 2016, playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He played only three matches that season, but he made a big impact, taking six wickets at an impressive average of 16.66. He also had an excellent economy rate of 8.33 and a strike rate of 12.00, which showed his ability to take wickets at regular intervals.

In the next season, Kuldeep played in 12 matches for KKR, taking 12 wickets at an average of 28.33. Although his economy rate was still good at 8.29, his strike rate went up to 20.50, which meant that he was not taking wickets as frequently as he did in his debut season. Nevertheless, he was still a valuable member of the KKR team, which reached the playoffs that year.

In 2018, Kuldeep had his breakout season in the IPL. He played in all 16 matches for KKR, taking 17 wickets at an excellent average of 24.58. His economy rate was still good at 8.66, but his strike rate was poor at 49.50. He struggled to make an impact in the matches he played, which was a disappointment for both KKR and his fans.

Overall, Kuldeep has played 59 IPL matches, taking 61 wickets at an average of 27.13. His economy rate of 8.32 is also impressive, considering that he is a wrist spinner who often bowls in the powerplay overs. However, his strike rate of 19.57 is not as good as some of the other top spinners in the league.

Despite his inconsistent performances, Kuldeep remains a valuable asset for any team he plays for in the IPL. His ability to spin the ball both ways and his unorthodox style make him a difficult bowler to face, especially for right-handed batsmen. He has also shown that he can be a match-winner on his day.
