First up, RCB acquired the services of Reece Topley for INR 1.9 crore. Topley is a left-arm fast bowler from England who has been in fine form in the recent past. He made his international debut in 2015 and has represented England in all formats of the game. His ability to swing the ball at a good pace and his variations make him a valuable addition to the RCB bowling attack.

Next on the list is Himanshu Sharma, who was bought for INR 20 lakh. Sharma is an all-rounder from Himachal Pradesh who has been impressive in the domestic circuit. He is a left-handed batsman who can also bowl left-arm spin. Sharma has been a consistent performer in the domestic T20 tournaments and has also been a part of the Kings XI Punjab squad in the past. While he may not be a regular starter for RCB, he provides a handy option in case of injuries or rotation of the squad.
RCB then made their most expensive purchase of the auction, acquiring the services of Will Jacks for INR 3.2 crore. Jacks is an explosive opening batsman from England who has made a name for himself in the T20 circuit. He shot to fame with his blistering century off just 25 balls in a T10 league in 2018. Jacks has also been a part of the Surrey squad in the English T20 Blast and has been in good form in the recently concluded Big Bash League in Australia. With the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the RCB batting lineup, Jacks provides the team with an additional attacking option at the top of the order.
Manoj Bhandage was bought for INR 20 lakh and is a left-arm spinner from Karnataka. He has been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit and has been a part of the Karnataka squad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. While he may not be a regular starter for RCB, he provides a valuable option in case the team needs to play an additional spinner.
