The point table is changing after every match which shows how close the competition is. CSK took the top spot from Delhi Capital after its win over Mumbai Indians in the first match of phase 2. But Delhi showed their dominance with an emphatic win over Sunrisers. Delhi’s win in the last night has moved them one step closer to a playoffs spot for the third year in a row. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad are on the brink of elimination.

Orange Cap List after DC vs SRH IPL match
The Orange cap list has also changed after the DC vs SRH match. Shikhar Dhawan scored a confident 42 in Delhi’s winning cause which enabled him to dispatch KL Rahul to the top position in the list. Punjab Kings openers Rahul and Mayank Agarwal follow Dhawan in the list. Faf du Plessis and Prithvi Shaw complete the top five. The fact that all the batsmen in Top 5 of the orange cap list are openers shows the impact of openers in this season.

Purple Cap List after DC vs SRH IPL match today
The purple cap list hasn’t changed much and Harshal Patel has held onto his top spot. DC fast bowler Avesh Khan had a superb first phase which puts him second on the list. Chris Morris had a poor outing during RR’s game against Punjab Kings but he remains third on the list. Arshdeep Singh’s 5-wicket haul against Rajasthan Royals has moved him upto the fourth spot on the list. Rashid Khan completes the Top 5 in the purple cap list.
