With a scintillating victory over Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore have made a statement that they will be a dangerous team going ahead in the competition. Chasing a target of 150, RCB had a good start with Kohli and Padikkal making full use of powerplay restrictions. Despite losing the openers in quick succession, wicketkeeper Bharat and Maxwell ensured the team got over the line comfortably in the end. Earlier, RR scored a below par 149/9 on a good batting surface despite a flying start from their openers.

Orange Cap List after RR vs RCB IPL match
Shikhar Dhawan holds the Orange Cap but Sanju Samson and KL Rahul are not far away. Samson is just two runs behind Dhawan in the list with 452 runs to his name. KL Rahul is third while CSK openers Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad are 4th and 5th respectively. Given that CSK have a match against SRH tonight, both these can go further up in the list. Also, Glenn Maxwell is making great strides and has moved up to 6th position with his good batting form.
