After the disappointing end to the first half of the IPL 2021, the stage is all set for the second leg of the marquee tournament that will take place in the UAE. While some players pulled themselves out of the cash-rich league, franchises on the other hand named replacements and it expected that there will be no shortage of entertainment in the UAE-leg of the tournament. The Bangalore based franchise will don the blue jersey to pay tribute to the frontline workers for their invaluable services during the harsh times of COVID-19 as the blue-coloured jersey resembles the colour of the PPE kit. The Virat Kohli-led side were earlier supposed to wear the jersey on May against the Eoin Morgan-led side but the tournament was indefinitely suspended.
The franchise also released the video of the few players speaking about the jersey. Premier batsman AB de Villiers along with Sachin Baby, Navdeep Saini and Devdutt Padikkal are seen in the video wearing the new jersey and highlighting it’s importance.

IPL 2021: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s season for far
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was one of the top sides in COVID-19 hit IPL 2021. The Virat Kohli-led side displayed great skills in all three departments. Over the years, they were always known for their heavyweight batting line-up but this season their bowling department was the main reason for them being in top-4.
The addition of Harshal Patel, Kyle Jamieson strengthened their death bowling line-up and the duo along with Mohammed Siraj showed great discipline at the death.
