Now with MS Dhoni’s time coming to an end, CSK need to groom a captain who can carry forward the legacy of CSK after MS Dhoni. It is next to impossible to find a captain of MS Dhoni’s calibre who is a master of handling the resources and bringing the best out of a player even if that player’s skillset is limited.

One of the most improved batters in recent times across formats, Ravindra Jadeja has been associated with CSK for 10 years now. He played for Gujarat Lions in the 2 years when CSK were banned from playing IPL. He along with Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni have become the face of CSK over the years.
