In a recent message to his fans, He said that He is pretty excited to be joining Royal Challengers Bangalore again for this year’s IPL. RCB hopeful that Steyn’s Fitness will Hold Up This IPL

Dale Steyn was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in recently held IPL Auction at Kolkata for a base price of 2 Cr. He is currently in Australia, playing for Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League. Notably, He also played for RCB in the last season of IPL for a couple of matches but struggled throughout with his fitness. He is also eyeing a place in South Africa’s International T20 team in the upcoming T20 World Cup next year. Dale Steyn Critical to RCB’s Plans

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s think tank, under the directions of Mike Hesson, will be relying heavily on Dale Steyn in next year’s IPL. He will be having a big role to play along with fellow South African Chris Morris not only on the field but also guiding Young Indian Fast bowling core of RCB.
