Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns against each other in the 26th fixture of Indian Premier League 2019 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Friday. This is not the first time that DC and KKR are square off against each other in this season. The last encounter between both the teams witnessed a tie, and DC won the match in the super over.
Now, in the second encounter, Andre Russell would be looking forward to taking his revenge from Rabada and the entire Delhi team after he bowled him out in the super over with splendid yorker. Andre Russell has a good record at Eden.
Kolkata Knight Riders played their last encounter against Chennai Super Kings, and they lost their openers in just eight runs, later middle-order batsmen didn’t take any responsibility and threw their wickets by playing irresponsible shots. Only Andre Russell played an exceptional inning and scored 50 runs.
It was Eden Gardens where Andre Russell showed no mercy to the bowlers and took his team towards victory by scoring 49 runs off 19 balls.
Coming to Delhi Capitals, they started their season pretty aggressively but failed to maintain their momentum. At present, they are sitting at the 6th position at the points table with three wins in six matches.
Rishabh Pant must play his shots carefully and try to stay on the crease as much as possible. Rabada is the main man for DC, and he is again expected to get Andre Russell. Colin Ingram must come up with some valuable runs for DC.
