In 2007, the Indian cricket team achieved a historic milestone by winning the inaugural T20 World Cup, marking their dominance in the shortest format of the game. Since then, they have continued to register numerous victories and set some of the best T20 International scores. India boasts a commendable batting record in T20Is, having crossed the 200-run mark on 21 occasions. One of their most remarkable performances was against Sri Lanka at Indore in 2017, where they posted India highest T20 score of 260 for 5.

1. 260/5 vs Sri Lanka – 2017
On December 22, 2017, during a match at Indore against Sri Lanka, Team India showcased a brilliant performance, setting a formidable score of 260/5, thanks to the outstanding opening partnership of 165 runs between Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
