After registering a thumping win by 146 runs in the first ODI, Windies Women would be all charged up to seal the series with another win when both the sides reload at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai tomorrow morning for the second ODI.
Having opted to bat first, Windies Women posted a good total of 216-5 on the board with the help of commendable knocks from Deandra Dottin (96 of 139 deliveries) and skipper Stafanie Taylor (58 of 97). Kainat Imtiaz was the pick of bowlers for Pakistan, finishing with 3-49.
Coming to chase, Pakistan Women were bundled out for a paltry 70 runs total inĀ 29.5 overs. Barring Nahida Khan (23 retired out) and skipper Javeria Khan (21 off 66) nobody else managed to score in double digit. While five of the batters returned with a duck, Deandra Dottin and Afy Fletcher shared three wickets each for Windies.
In the second ODI, Pakistan Women would be hoping to bounce back stronger and put a better show with the bat. This is a must-win game for the hosts to stay alive in the contest. Windies Women on the opposite would be looking to push it further and clinch the series with another win. The three-match T20I series earlier was also won by Windies Women by 2-1.
