After registering a thrilling final-ball win over Adelaide Strikers in the last match, Melbourne Renegades will be eyeing to register their second consecutive win when both the sides will come face to face again at Ballarat on Sunday morning.

With the six wickets win over Strikers, Renegades claimed their opening points of the WBBL 2018  season. Requiring four from the final ball, Claire Koski hit a boundary to secure six wickets victory at Melbourne on Saturday. 

Previous encounter

Batting first, Strikers posted a decent total of 153 at the loss of seven wickets with the help of a fifty from skipper Suzie Bates. S Molineux, Molly Strano and Georgia Wareham shared two wickets each. Coming to chase, Renegades rode on Danielle Wyatt’s 62 of 47 deliveries and a last-ball four from Claire Koski did the job.

Both the sides have secured one win each out of two games played and would be looking to gain some momentum.
