In the tournament opener, the hosts Thailand Women locked horns with China Women and clinched 6 wickets win in the thrilling encounter. In a match reduced to 8 overs due to rain, China Women posted 32/7 in the first innings. In reply, Thailand Women chased down the target with 6 wickets in kitty and 1 ball to spare.
