SRH vs KKR IPL Dream11: It’s time for another Super Sunday doubleheader in the IPL 2020. The first match of the doubleheader will witness Sunrisers Hyderabad take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Abu Dhabi. Both the teams are very much sailing on the same boat as they have lost their previous two matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad have just 3 wins and 5 losses so far and a couple of losses from here can bring them to the brink of knocking out of the tournament. They have been far from their best so far this competition. Relying heavily on their top order has cost them clearly as they have been unable to find solutions when David Warner and Jonny Bairstow have failed. But whenever they have fired at the top, Sunrisers have found themselves in a great position. The young Indian stars in the middle order need to make their starts count.
KKR, on the other hand have had a mixed bag this season. 4 wins and an equal amount of losses have been a clear indicator of that. They have struggled overall whether its their batting or bowling. Their batsmen have performed well in patches and they need to perform collectively as a unit to challenge the opposition. Bowlers have performed well on occasions and barring Varun Chakravarthy, they have looked inconsistent. On top of that, Dinesh Karthik leaving the captaincy and giving it to Eoin Morgan on the eve of their match against Mumbai didn’t help their case either.

SRH vs KOL Dream11 Prediction, Team News, Playing 11
Sunrisers have had a scratchy IPL so far this season. 6 points from 8 matches clearly don’t show their potential. The over-reliance on Warner and Bairstow has affected them. Warner hasn’t quite hit his best form yet while Bairstow has hit 3 fifties so far. Manish Pandey has played a couple of eye-catching innings but his inconsistency hasn’t helped his team’s cause. The form of Kane Williamson gives SRH a hope in their brittle middle order. The onus will be on Rashid Khan, who has a good record against KKR to produce a bit of his magic. He has picked up 10 wickets so far with an economy of less than 5.5. The young Indian players like Priyam Garg, T Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma have been impressive but SRH will look for their consistency as they move towards the important phase of the tournament. No injury concern means SRH are highly likely to go with the same eleven.
KKR has been another inconsistent side along with the SRH. The top order failures on numerous occasions has put extra pressure on the middle order. The talented Shubman Gill has struggled to play freely so far while it has been a disappointing tournament so far for Nitish Rana. Dinesh Karthik looked in a beautiful touch in the only half century he has made. While new captain Morgan has been consistent, but the form of Russell will be a big concern for the Knight Riders. The big man has won them many impossible matches over the years but he has struggled to get going this season. The bowling has lacked too many runs. The leader of the pack Pat Cummins has bowled well with the new ball but his death bowling has been a big concern. Chakravarthy has been the star so far for KKR with his mystery spin. There have been no injury concerns but KKR may bring back Kuldeep Yadav to boost their spin department in absence of Narine as they have struggled to pick up wickets in the middle overs.
Pitch report
It will be a hot day in Abu Dhabi with 33 degrees expected. The team winning the toss may choose to bat first in the afternoon heat. The pitch is expected to be a good one for batting, though it may get slower as the game progresses. Team batting second may have a tough time chasing a target above 165. KKR played their last game on this ground, so that might work in their favor. Mumbai showed that if you execute your plans and bowl according to it, the opposition can be restricted to a below-par score on this ground. So the execution of plans will be important. Dinesh Karthik is now playing without being a captain and he is expected to play freely. He scored a brilliant fifty in the last day game he played. This may be his chance to express himself as a batsman. So choose your SRH vs KOL Dream11 team accordingly.

SRH vs KOL Dream11 Expert Picks
David Warner- Warner is the most successful overseas batsman in the IPL. He has scored runs almost every season and that’s why he is one of the most successful batsmen in the IPL. This year though he hasn’t performed to his standards. His average of 35 looks impressive but his strike rate of 122 doesn’t quite reflect how destructive batsman he is. Against an inconsistent KKR bowling unit, Warner will fancy his chances of playing a big inning.
Rashid Khan- Rashid has been the go-to bowler for Sunrisers this year as he has been over the years. The injury to Bhuvneshwar Kumar he is the most lethal weapon in SRH’s bowling and is trusted to bowl the difficult overs. Against a good middle order that KKR possesses, it will be a challenge for him but he has picked up crucial wickets in the past.
Dinesh Karthik- He has given up his captaincy to play freely as a batsman. We might get to see a different Dinesh Karthik now who can attack the spinners in the middle overs with his sweeps and slog sweeps. He played an excellent knock the last time he played an afternoon game. But the likes of Rashid Khan will test him in the middle overs. His ability to play spin in the middle overs makes him a must pick the option in the SRH vs KKR Today Match Prediction.
Nitish Rana- The talented left-hander has got enough opportunities this year but his struggling form has affected KKR top-order badly. An average of less than 20 does not show the potential that he has. With the opposition having legspinner and left-arm spinner in their line-up, Rana may favour his favourite leg side and can play an important inning.
Differential Picks
Jonny Bairstow- Bairstow has been impressive at the top for SRH. He has a decent average of 35 and a strike rate of nearly 130. Along with Warner, he forms one of the most destructive opening pairs of the IPL. He will fancy an inexperienced bowling of KKR. If he plays out the first spell from Pat Cummins without losing his wicket, he could be highly dangerous at the top.
Andre Russell- This hasn’t been Dre Russ’ season so far. The most valuable player of the last season has been unable to make an impact so far. He will be hungry to have some runs under his belt. In the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, he can target the inexperienced SRH pacers.
