Sindhis stormed back valiantly after a 10-wicket pounding in their first game to register their maiden win of the tournament by nine wickets. Veteran spinner Pravin Tambe was at the heart of Sindhis revival as he ran through Kerela Knights’ batting unit to claim figures of 5-15. At 6-21, the ignominy of an underwhelming score looked imminent but a swashbuckling 24-ball-59 by Wayne Parnell took them to a competitive 7-103 in 10 overs.

After Tambe’s heist, it was the turn of Shane Watson (50) and Anton Devcich to take their side through. They did it with aplomb as an 80-run opening stand helped them chase down 104 in a mere 7.4 overs.

They’ll now face Pakhtoons, who too are coming off a 9-wicket win against Rajputs after a 27-ball-68 from Andre Fletcher helped them chase down 122 in 9.4 overs. With a win apiece both sides will look to garner the winning momentum as we move on to the business end of the tournament.
