SCO vs STA Dream11 Team Prediction: Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars will face each other in the 9th match of this year’s BBL. Both teams have had contrasting starts to their campaigns with Stars having won both their opening games so far while Scorchers lost the only match they have played. Perth Scorchers have a devastating batting order but they failed miserably in their first game. They have the experience and power of Colin Munro, Mitchell Marsh and skipper Ashton Turner which can destroy any bowling attack on their days. The fast bowling has variety with fast bowler Jhye Richardson and left-arm seamer Jason Behrendorff leading the charge with the new ball. They need to click together to get past an in-form Melbourne Stars.
With a no. of match winners in their side, Melbourne Stars look one of the best sides of the competition. Marcus Stoinis scored a brilliant half-century in the last game well complimented by Glenn Maxwell. With Andre Fletcher to open alongside Stoinis, the opening pair looks a threatening one for the opposition. Experienced wicketkeeper Ben Dunk gives the side much needed experience in the middle order. The bowling looks decent with Billy Stanlake leading the charge with the new ball and Adam Zampa producing a match winning performance in the last match. Stars look a decent side altogether though they lack a quality death bowler.

Ground: Aurora Stadium, Launceston
Brief score of the last result at the venue: Adelaide Strikers 147/5 (18.4 overs) beat Hobart Hurricanes 146 all out (19.3 overs) by 5 wickets on 15 December, 2020.
Team Form:
SCO (recent last) L W L L L
STA (recent last) L W L W W

Pitch Report: The pitch in Launceston is a good one for batting with some even bounce. In the last match played here just a day ago, there was something for the seamers early on but batsmen scored runs after they spent time on the wicket. So expect seamers to get some swing early on but it will get better for batting as the game progresses. The weather will be partly cloudy with breeze expected to blow across the ground during the evening.
