RR vs RCB Dream11: It’s time for the start of another weekend of IPL 2020. The royal battle is on the cards where Rajasthan Royals will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai. Rajasthan Royals will be looking to get their campaign back on track after the narrow defeat to Delhi Capitals. They have won 3 games so far and have lost 5. Another couple of defeats for them and they could well be on the brink of getting out of the playoffs race. Rajasthan have won a couple of games thanks to their in-form finisher Rahul Tewatia. But the loss in the last game might well have shaken their confidence a little bit. They were on the drivers seat for most of the match but lost out eventually. They would like to plug the holes in their line-up before it gets too late.
RCB, on the other hand, have been impressive overall. They have covered their overall bases this time and are looking good to qualify to the next stage of the tournament. Unfortunately out of their three losses, two have come against Kings XI Punjab, who are at the bottom of the table. Their batsmen have risen to the occasion most of the times. The youngsters like Devdutt Padikkal, Washington Sundar and Navdeep Saini have responded well to the pressure. RCB will look to win this game and move one step closer to the playoffs.

RR vs BLR Dream11 Prediction, Team News, Playing 11
Rajasthan has had some eye-catching individual performances but they would be disappointed with their overall performance. Their overseas players barring Jofra Archer just haven’t got themselves going in this tournament yet. Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler look a box office opening pair at the top and if they fire they can tear any bowling line-up apart. Skipper Steve Smith started off the tournament with a couple of half-centuries but has lost his form since. He has been out trying to slog the balls out of the park which does not really define him. Jos Buttler has often got to quick starts but has struggled to play a defining inning. Jofra Archer though has led the bowling attack and bowled with some pace. He has picked up crucial wickets upfront and has been difficult to hit at the death. That places him second on the list of highest wicket-takers with 12 wickets to his name. The form of Rahul Tewatia has been a shining light for them so far and Riyan Parag looks in good touch too. There might be a case to include the Mahipal Lomror in place of Robin Uthappa. Other than that, they look an injury-free team.
RCB looked out of sorts in their last game but they have performed credibly well throughout the season. Devdutt Padikkal has often laid a strong foundation at the top. Virat Kohli is starting to look better with each innings and AB de Villiers has always looked impressive whenever he has come out to bat. In the bowling department, Navdeep Saini has shown his ability to bowl fast and pick up wickets with his Yorkers at the death. He can be an essential player in the RR vs BLR Dream11 team because of his ability to pick up wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal has not been afraid flighting the ball which has rewarded him 11 wickets so far. The strategy to send de Villiers at no.6 in the last match failed as RCB was well below the score they actually wanted. There have been no injury concerns in the squad but there might be a case to include Gurkeerat Mann in place of Siraj which would strengthen their batting a little bit.
Pitch report
The weather at Dubai looks clear and sunny. A day game ensures that team winning the toss may look to bat first because of the afternoon heat. Team fielding first may have a tough time around while fielding at 36 degrees. The pitch seems to be slowing down as the tournament is progressing into its last stage. Chasing team can face a tough time while chasing a target above 170. Both the sides have excellent wicketkeeping options, so keepers from both the teams may get a place in the RR vs BLR Dream11 team prediction. Both the teams are top-heavy, so expect some top-order runs to be scored in this game, especially in the powerplay.

RR vs BLR Dream11 Expert Picks
Jos Buttler- Buttler has been impressive at the top with his starts but has struggled to play a big inning consistently. 22 off 9 in the last match might be a signal that a big innings is not far away. One of the best players in T20 cricket, Buttler has the ability to play both the pacers and spinners equally well. He should be one of the first picks in your RR vs BLR Today Match Prediction.
Sanju Samson- The talented batsman showed glimpses of some rich form in the earlier stages of the tournament and gained lots of praises. But his form soon faded and he has been struggling to play a big inning since. In the last game too, he started off well but played a poor shot to get out. He probably has too many shots for one ball which may be leading to his downfall. Promoting him to his earlier batting position of No.3 may well bring out big innings from him as he has a good record in the powerplay.
Ben Stokes- It came as a surprise when Stokes was promoted to open the innings alongside his England teammate Buttler. The two England white-ball stars form one of the most exciting opening pairs in world cricket. With the new ball and field restrictions on, Stokes can be the perfect foil at the top. He looked good in the last game with his 35-ball 41 and he might want to make his innings count this time around.
Virat Kohli- Kohli has looked like getting big innings every time he has come out to bat in the last few innings. He scored a crucial 48 in the last game to take his team to a respectable total. A big innings is close to him and if he plays out Jofra Archer at the top, the job might become easy for him. His consistency with the bat makes him impossible to leave out of the RR vs BLR Dream11 team prediction.
Yuzvendra Chahal- Yuzi Chahal might be the one to look out for in this match. He holds an excellent record against RR taking 14 wickets in just 9 matches with the best of 3/24. He has been successful in containing Buttler in the powerplay and has given away just 21 runs in 18 balls off him. We might see him and Sundar bowling in the powerplay.
AB de Villiers- It’s difficult to leave a player like AB de Villiers out of a fantasy side. He has been such a match over the years. Surprisingly he batted at No.6 in the last game, a move which didn’t work. He is expected to bat at No.4 again and with less experienced spinners in the opposition, it might be de Villiers’ day again.
Differential Picks
Jofra Archer- The second-highest wicket-taker in this tournament has been impressive whenever he has come out to bowl. He is a genuine wicket-taking option for his captain picking up 12 wickets at an average of 17.5. It will be a challenge for him to bowl to quality top order like RCB but Jofra normally relishes challenges.
Washington Sundar- Sundar has impressed one and all this season with his tight bowling. He has been one of the reasons why RCB has done well in the powerplay. He might have taken just 5 wickets in 8 games but boasts an economy of just 5.61 and is just behind Rashid Khan among bowlers who have played more than 5 matches. With Stokes at the top order, he might have a job in hand.
Shivam Dube- Dube hasn’t scored many runs but has shown he has the ability to hit sixes. In the last game too, he hit two sixes before getting out. With 2 legspinners in the opposition, it might be Dube’s day to finish off the innings.
