MI vs CSK Playerzpot Prediction IPL Preview, Team News, Playing 11
As the caravan of the Indian Premier League moves to Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Indians eagerly welcome their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings to their fortress on Wednesday. After losing two of their three encounters, Mumbai Indians would be desperate to get back to winning ways when they meet CSK, who are coming off their three wins in as many games. Both the teams locked horns with each other for the first time on April 24, 2008, and their meeting has remained an anticipated affair since.
Mumbai Indians lost their last match to the Kings XI Punjab and they would aim to get back to winning ways when they meet defending champions for the next header. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are the two most successful franchises in the history of the tournament with three titles each. However, Mumbai Indians have an upper hand over the yellow brigade as they have managed to win four out of five times in their previous meeting. Mumbai Indians hold an overall advantage as well with 12 wins in 14 meetings. However, mere statistics do not present Mumbai Indians as favourites. Considering the purple patch of the counterparts, Chennai Super Kings cannot be underestimated at all.

Don’t want to be too critical about my bowlers: Rohit Sharma
“We lost a bit of momentum in the middle while batting. I wouldn’t say 176 was a winning score but we were in the game if we bowled well. The wicket was very nice. Big scores have been chased in Mohali. These things can happen and I don’t want to be too critical about my bowlers,” said skipper Rohit Sharma
I feed off MS Dhoni’s energy: Bravo
“Feeding off his energy and he also encouraged me to be positive, that is important. I enjoy batting with him because he makes batting so easy. He puts the opposition under so much pressure,” said Bravo.

Fantasy Picks Chennai Super Kings
- We got a glimpse of vintage Dhoni in the last header as he scored an unbeaten 75 runs. He has scored 107 runs in 3 matches at a strike rate of 150.66. He is a good fantasy pick for the side.
- Banking on the veterans like Dwayne Bravo, Imran Tahir, Raina and Watson would also yield results for you as these players are accomplished match winners.
- Deepak Chahar was the least expensive bowler in the last match with an economy of 4.5. You can pick him in your fantasy team as well.
Mumbai Indians
- Quinton de Kock played a knock of 60 runs off 39 balls to help his team post a total of 176. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored 32 runs off 18 balls to give a steady start to the team. Both these batsmen can be picked in your fantasy team.
- Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya are also good fantasy pick for the side as the Pandya brothers come handy with the bat and can be as lethal with the ball too.
