India vs Australia Playerzpot Prediction 3rd ODI Preview
India aims to keep its winning juggernaut rolling when they host the visitors in Ranchi for the third ODI. The five-match ODI series stands at 2-0 with one last chance for Australia to stay alive.
Just when the game appeared to slip from the hands of team India, Bumrah came to the rescue to bowl the penultimate over. He was backed by Vijay Shankar who bowled the final over to snatch victory from the hands of defeat as India registered its 500th ODI win at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Now after winning the second ODI against Australia by 8 runs,
Vijay Shankar bowled the final over in the second ODI when Australia needed 11 runs to win with 2 wickets in hand. He gave away just two runs and took the remaining wickets to give his team a thrilling win. India had also won the first ODI against Australia by six wickets in Hyderabad which means that this win would hand over India a series win against Australia. Australia would aim to come out all guns blazing to avoid a series defeat.
Interestingly, despite the fact that India have won on both the outings, it would be worthwhile to add that Australia held their nerves till the end and they have chances to keep the series alive.
Where: JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi

It felt a bit empty after the effort went in vain: Stoinis
“Just a bit of an empty feeling coming to the end of the game,” Stoinis said on Thursday, 7 March, ahead of the third ODI in Ranchi. “We did well, fought hard, got close, but we didn’t get the result we wanted.”
Skipper Kohli all praises for Shankar
“I want to specially congratulate Vijay [Shankar] because of the way he batted and also for the way he bowled in the last over. That requires a lot of mental strength and he showed a lot of character,” Kohli said.
