The five-match ODI series between Sri Lanka Youth and Pakistan Youth rests at 2-1 with two more games to go. The visitors, Pakistan Youth, took a 2-1 lead after registering 5 wickets win over the hosts in the third ODI played on Friday.

Having opted to bowl first, Pakistan restricted the hosts at mere 183 runs in 48.3 overs with Akhtar Shah returning with 4-19 in his 9.3 overs spell. Coming to chase, Pakistan were reduced to 20-2 but skipper Rohail Nazeer (76 of 114) and Mohammad Taha (25 of 42) resurrected the innings and guided the side to five wickets win with four overs to spare.

Pakistan will be eyeing to seal the series with another win while it’s a must-win game for Sri Lanka to stay alive in the series and prevent it from turning into a dead-rubber.
