The second semi-final of Bangladesh’s domestic T20 league Dhaka Premier League 2019 will be played between Prime Bank Cricket Club and Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at Dhaka on Friday evening. Both the sides have secured top spots in their respective groups and would be fighting for the final spot. The DPL 2019 final will take place on March 03, Sunday at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Dhaka Premier League 2019 is Bangladesh’s domestic T20 cricket league that commenced on February 25. A total of 12 teams which were further divided into four groups participated in the tournament with the group champions advancing into the semi-final round. The final of the tournament will be held on March 3 at Mirpur.

The clash – PDSC vs PBCC 

Clubbed with Abahani Limited and Brothers Union in Group A, Prime Bank Cricket Club secured 49 runs and 47 runs win respectively to secure the top spot in the Group A. They will be banking on Ruble Mia and Ariful Haque’s power hitting abilities for the bulk scoring against Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club tomorrow while the bowling attack will be led by Alok Kapali, Al Amin Hossain and Monir Hossain.

On the other side, Group D emerged out to be the toughest with all the three teams managing one win and one defeat in their two outings. Paired along with Gazi Group Cricketers and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan in Group D, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club managed to clinch the semifinal spot on the back of slightly better run rate than the other two teams.
