After 3-0 clean sweep in the Test series, the high-flying Proteas would be eyeing to whitewash the visitors in the limited overs format too when both the sides come face to face at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth in the first of the five ODIs.

South Africa registered  6 wickets in Centurion, 9 wickets win in Cape Town and 107 runs win in Johannesburg to clinch the Test series by 3-0. They have rested their premium bowler Dale Steyn and wicketkeeper batter Q de Kock looking after the workload and have roped in Aiden Markram and Duanne Olivier.

Pakistan would be hoping some change in fortune with the change in format. While the visitors are still recovering over the 3-0 defeat, batting will again be the main concern. With the likes of experienced campaigner Shoaib Malik and M Hafeez joining the squad let’s hope Pakistan to fight back.
