Hello!
As you know, on Tuesday, CSK had their fifth consecutive win carrying on from the 2018 IPL Season and they have been constantly great in each edition of IPL. With this IPL gaining energy now, every single team is putting forth a strong effort.
Let’s get to the heart of the matter and discussion about today’s match as there is a major rivalry between RCB and MI, with both teams having huge fanbase around the world. Every fan would wish that their team performs well in this match.
RCB in their first match did not look in good touch as the entire team was bowled out for 70 runs and disappointed their fans, while Mumbai Indians additionally lost their first match despite putting up an intense challenge. Both the teams were losing sides in their first respective cricket matches and will look forward to perform well.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have not won a single title in 11 years and got thrashed by CSK in their first match miserably, Skipper Virat Kohli will be eager to win the maiden title for the franchise this season as they are playing with a very strong team, though they are missing the service of Stoinis and NCN. Hopefully the two players will come into the playing 11 straightaway after the Aus vs Pak ODI series. At the same time, RCB has incredible players like Kohli, ABD, Moen ali and Shimron Heytmer and will hope to perform well in today’s game.
Mumbai Indians are the joint most successful team in IPL history (alongside Chennai Super Kings). Under Rohit Sharma they have won the title thrice. Mumbai Indians have a particularly strong batting lineup this season. Captain Rohit Sharma is one of the best players in the shortest format of the cricket game. Quinton de Kock also has been scoring runs easily, then there are Kieron Pollard and the Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal. They probably have the best balanced side and they have also got Bumrah, the number 1 bowler of the game right now. Suryakumar Yadav’s consistency last season makes him the favourite over everyone else. Also, in the last match, Yuvraj Singh fired his guns to prove his worth. So the match is going to be fascinating as both the teams are solid competitors.
The Chinnaswamy track is viewed as one of the better batting surfaces but sometimes the pitch has been given a “below average” rating by the ICC match referees, while the outfield in Bengaluru is rated as very good. This track has always seen high scoring games in T-20 cricket and chasing becomes very easy on this track because of the dew factor and sometimes the surface becomes very hard.
We are going to see one high scoring encounter.
