The batting unit of the Bangalore team has been fairly strong. However, in the recent matches, the team has suffered minor hiccups with off-key performances of the batters. In the last match, the batting unit looked pretty strong as the skipper Faf du Plessis joined the party and held the fort alongside Kohli. All-rounder Glenn Maxwell also showed his worth and mesmerised the crowd with his brilliant ball-hitting skills. The Australian batter remained not out and scored 40 runs off just 18 balls.
