In its’s first innings, Karnataka only managed 217 runs on board in 78.1 overs with Dega Nischal (58) and Karun Nair (63) turning up to be the top scorers. For Saurashtra, D Jadeja bagged 7 wickets in total giving away just 103 runs in his 34 overs spell.

Chasing 179 runs in last innings, Karnataka’s five players returned for a duck. Only three batters scored in double-digits and the whole team was bundled out for a mere total of 91, falling short of 87 runs.
