Dublin, May 5, Sunday at 3:15 PM

In a bid to polish the World Cup preparations, West Indies are all set to face Ireland in the opening match of the  Triangular Series 2019 at the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground. Bangladesh is the third team in the series.

In the last outing at ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier (ICC Trophy), It was West Indies who had an upper hand at the end. West Indies hammered Ireland by 52 runs. Despite some big players missing from the squad, the visitors are likely to dominate the match because of the poor home record of the hosts.

Ireland, on the other hand, will be hoping to take advantage of facing an under-strength West Indies side.

Both teams managed draws in their recent-most ODI series against England and Afghanistan respectively.
