Essex vs Glamorgan Match Preview | Who Will Win Today Match
Cardiff, April 17, Wednesday at 03:30 PM IST
Glamorgan will open their Royal London One Day Cup 2019 campaign against Essex Eagles at Sophia Gardens tomorrow. Having faced one of the worst seasons, Glamorgan finished last in South Group standing last year with just one win in eight encounters and would be looking for a better run this season.
Glamorgan has made a couple of changes to their squad this season and it will be interesting to watch how far they go. In place of Colin Ingram, Chris Cooke will lead the side this season. All-rounders Andrew Salter and Craig Meschede have been recalled to white ball tournament. The side also boasts Marnus Labuschagne, Kiran Carlson and Billy Root who will be hoping to carry their good run in white ball cricket too.
On the opposite, Essex Eagles got knocked out of the tournament in the quarterfinals after facing 25 runs drubbing at the hands of Yorkshire. Eagles will be eyeing to start the campaign with a win as their second fixture is a home game against Middlesex on April 19, Friday.
Up next for the Eagles is the start of the @OneDayCup campaign & a trip to Cardiff on Wednesday to face @GlamCricket!
